My Expressions - Re Pair Please

Every day one or the other thing in our daily life need fixing.. Things that need immediate attention...things that need to be fixed immediately or the daily life stops or loose its rhythm... Such things could be a fuse Light bulb, A flat tyre, A microwave that does not warm or AC that does not cool, etc..

Soon as we realise that the thing is out of order , we press panic buttons for its repair...

We also blame overuse, Misuse or careless handling of such things for them to go out of order..

But seldom do we care about out of order relationships, seldom do we press panic buttons for their repair, seldom do we realize their importance in the rhythm of our life..

We need to check if the tendons that hold our relationships need any mending, oiling, fixing from time to time...

WE MUST QUICKLY RE - PAIR...

Daily Life- Mindsets

As if everything depends upon the mindsets...We all gradually acquire mindsets over a period of time and adamantly believe in them.. However ..

1. We can be proud of taking the first step... Last week I came across occassions where First step taken forward was unacknowledged sometimes eloquently, sometimes evasively, and sometimes stubbornly..But My taking first step was my human revolution that opened up my life.

2. I also realised that apart from other things we carry a huge responsibility of Maintaining relationships..fostering bonds and nurturing friendships.. However it is simpler with like minded people and with rest we need to make efforts. We also find people who are fiercly competetive for no rhyme and reason and spare no oportunity to deride us, sometimes going to the extent of fabricating unfavourable atmosphere . How do we foster bonds with such people..by doing our human revolution..Making such efforts need immense Life state and conviction.. Most of us lack grooming on this aspect and need to cultivate encouraging attitudes.

Once we decide to break open our shell , We breath the fresh air of fulfillment..This year will be the year of Human revolution for me..

Happy birthday to the someone who has break through the dark clouds to shine eternally like a Full Moon..The hard work , determination and sense of responsibility & purpose, Compassion and emotional strength are sublime virtues.. that makes the whole world shine with bright Rays of hope and optimism.

Daily Life - Happy 2011

Second Anniversary of my blog as the Year 2011 usher in with renewed determinations and hopes in hearts of millions of us. This a very special occasion as we all wish each other success, prosperity and happiness. We want all to be Happy and Cheerful.

Today also happens to be the Birthday of a very special person - one who design,innovate, care, and over all smile very warmly...A very happy birthday to the Grand Lotus ..

I feel encouraged when many of you say my blog has helped you overcoming the blues. I feel a strong sense of appreciation and gratitude should drive us rather than arrogance and ego. There are people who scoff at such suggestions as being foolish and unrealistic. They feel being emotional is not being worldly wise. I feel being worldly wise with emotions is difficult and need individuals human revolution hence many people take the easier option of remaining narrow mindedly focussed on their self interests.

Recently we attended an outdoor workshop in which there were certain activities like rock climbing , river crossing etc. were performed by participants. Many of these participants were not fit enough to even attempt such activities but I noted that cheered up by the crowd and the cries of BuckUps , propelled their hearts and they did these activities successfully. The crowd supportive applauds worked wonders for them to go beyond their abilities. I was wondering if they would have done the same if the crowd was shouting deriding, threating or scaring remarks.

Daily life - a few lessons

A few learnings I came across in last few days and found worth sharing :

• The words 'Ever Changing' and 'Uncertainty' are synonyms but induce different feeling.
• In any transaction the foremost requirement is to Be Human and behave Humanly.
• There is a voice inside us that forewarns if we are doing something wrong.
• Human mind is completely mutable as per the life state and circumstances.
• The Positive or Negative meaning of any thing in life comes from the Life State we are in.
• It is important to be Unobtrusive in achieving your goals.

Daily Life : The Encounters

I now see the person along with his state of life ....People in constant misery express pessimism and criticism, People in state of greed constantly compete and compare, People in the state of animality bow to the authority but bully the weaker , People in the state of anger get easily disturbed by external stimulus and thus are susceptible to get misused by evildoers..... Last few days i had close and repeat encounters with some such people deep in these states ....most of them gone completely astray despite huge potential to create value and happiness..

The Iridescence....

The Roads lie across intertwined,

Thru' the serene quietude,

Barren wilderness,

and Bubbling alacrity,

waiting for the footsteps,

to leave the marks..

and memories..

behind,

as the timeless journey goes on,

with the dreams of reaching,

the azure heights..

and the indigo depths..

to ride over

the clouds..

and the tidal waves..

behold the vicissitude of,

mirth and tears,

bliss and fears,

done and undone,

learn and discern,

Holding hands with destiny,

expanding the cosmic with in,

The Phoenix rises once again..

The Pegasus takes another fanciful flight..

The resurgence of unsaid guilt and pains,

left behind,

to 'be' and never to say goodbye..

the sunshine descends,

and spreads thin and light,

to brighten the whole new life,

and the innocent childhood from,

the pyradimical bygones,

comes ALIVE..

My Expressions - Package

My Expressions : Package Unseen

Every time you acquire something, there would we certain things that would inevitably come along with it. In pursuit of so many things, we almost tend to forget the what comes packeged with them.

In other word we focus on the effect or results but do not care much about the side effects or byproducts. 
Here are some :

1. With excess Money comes arrogance , evil influences ; desire to earn more money often at the cost and compromises ever increasing.

2. With excess power comes lonliness and distance from friends and proximity to yes men.

3. With excess and quick fame comes envy of many near and DEAR ones.

4. Excessively Workoholics often gets promotions packaged with health hazards.

5. With extreme idealism , disillusionment comes packaged.

6. Strong focus on the goal often misses the bigger picture.

7. With excess comfort, procrastination and nonchalance creep in.

8. With excessive simplicity and naiveness, betrayals and heartbreaks abound.

9. With excessive trust, the risk of misrepresentation and isolation comes in.

10. With excessive love, pains and expectations Congress packaged.

It is important to make choices in life in wise proportions.

Daily Life - Jun 2010

Today I have redesigned the Blog for better readability. I am also adding a New dimension to my blog which are nuggets of amazing experiences and encounters in my daily life. Hope this would be liked by all readers.
As for today being a fathers day, My very young child took the challenge to prepare complete meal for me with her own sweet hands without any asistance.. and there could not have been a better treat for me on this day ..
I too salute my father today for being always youthful , inquisitive , vibrant and inspiring today with all my heart..Fathers have to hide their compassion in the veil of disciplined and stoic approach which gives them some disadvantage compared to mothers in recieving the love back but the new age fathers and new age children both share and reach out to make good for this long over due injustice..Happy fathers day..

Maa - Treasures Of Love

मां की ममता बिन सब सूना ,
माँ की डांट में प्यार है दूना ,
माँ होती है प्यार का सागर ,
बचपन के सपनो की गागर।

माँ से हो मीठी तकरार,
थोडा गुस्सा,ढेर दुलार,
माँ के आंसू की बूंदों में ,
कही अनकही सारी बातें ,
जीवन की हर ऊँच नीच की,
मौन समाहित बीती यादें।

माँ के आँचल में होता है,
आशीषों का एक खजाना,
इश्वर के समतुल्य हो माँ तुम,
तीनो लोकों ये ने माना।

हुए बड़े दिन तुमको देखे,
सुने कहानी अंखियाँ मींचे,
सपने में तुम रोज हो आती,
प्यार से मुझको सुबह जगाती,
पानी लायी हूँ मूंह धो लो,
उठो लाल अब आंखे खोलो...
लाल उठा और आँखे खोली,
माँ बिन कितनी रातें सो ली।

सुंदर घर का प्यारा कोना,
माँ की गोद में सर रख सोना,
पाखी ने अनमन यह सोचा,
याद जो आई रुला गयी...

माँ तुम मुझको ख़त मत लिखना ,
मुझको ख़त से मत बहलाना,

My Expressions - Happy New Year

Today is the first anniversary of the Blog and I really thank all the readers who have sent me encouraging comments and notes. I also thank my fellow beings to keep giving me food for thoughts, gems of wisdom and the experiences to enrich my own repertoir of hopes & dreams.

The new year opening is again abuzz with the rustle of optimism and bon homie.The Greetings and best wishes, determinations and resolutions are illuminating the hearts once again.

As we advance our journey with renewed vigour, let us make pledge to value each of family member, friend, colloegue & neighbour.Each of them have a mission and a role to play in our life.

Many times we treat them in an unjust manner or ignore their contributions in our life and bear grudges. Such grudges become the roots of unhappiness in our own heart. Let us rewind, relook, rejuvenate the strained bonds.

My Expressions - I, Me and Myself

I, Me & Myself

• 
  
• We are the hero of our Life story and thus look at the storyline from our standpoint only.
• We pray , act and strive for our happiness primarily
• Many a times we feel our prayers are not answered , Our efforts do not fructify.
• We view things in terms of extremities - Good- Bad, Happy-Sad, Day-Night, Light- Dark,Hope-Despair, Right - wrong, Me-Others
• Just as a pendulams build tension while travelling to one side gather momentum to swing to the other side after touching the extreme & thus keep Oscillating.. we are no different..
• In reality life is made up of myriad subtle shades & nuances of what lies in between these extremes.
• and thus many of us in pursuit of a distant goal make the journey miserable..
• For God everyone is Hero, we think for ourselves but he thinks for all..
• When we are awakened to this , we are no longer self centered..Being self centered does not fit in the design of Universe..
• Universe is made up of a rhythm of mutual co-existence..a constant cycle of synthesis and annihilation..
• The source of contentment and happiness is to find this rhythm..

• A discussion leads to logical & workable solutions of most problems ...
• Some people do not discuss even when they are encouraged to..
• Some people only tell, they do not listen or discuss..
• Unwillingness to discuss with an open mind indicate underlying Fears and Insecurities..
• Unwillingness to discuss could also be intended bravado...
• Arrogant attitudes / Devious comments are detrimental to constructive dialogue...
• A conclusion imposed on the other person in a one sided discussion is often unproductive or counterproductive while it may deliver a temporary sense of triumph...
• Rigid attitudes do not foster constructive dialogues...flexibilities do..
• Peaceful, tolerant and colloborative spirit matters..and so does mutual respect
• Constructive dialogue should not be delayed
• Talk it out... in and out and WIN-WIN...

Collage of Life : On the canvas of life,
I made a collage,
Of my desires and dreams,
From heart and mind,
And soul,

The scenes of joy & sorrows,
Hopes and despair,
Melancholy and laughter,
Appeared frame after frame,

There were images I did not make,
But yet appeared,
From the lives of the people,
Whose destiny intertwined with mine,

The imprints of time , space and beyond,
Casted the silhouettes,
Rendering the meanings ,
Which would only be known later,
When the dots would finally connect

And so I continue adding color,
and watch others do the same,
the picture keeps changing,
with its myriads looks every time,

And this collage transcends,
Many lifetimes,
As the journey continues till,
Eternity…

My Expressions- Appreciation , Encouragement & Gratitude

Appreciation and encouragement has the power to unleash the unlimited potential latent with in all of us - potential to fill every moment of life with joy and true happiness. Appreciation from heart brings out the best of a person and encourages him to do better with a sense of fulfillment. Criticism and sarcasm leads to resentment and bitterness and leaves behind a rancour that seeths with in to give rise to negative tendencies.

Each of us are unique human beings with our unique traits, habits, and behaviours. Many a times we do not like people who are not like us which is fine. But the moment this dislike start turning into resentment and criticism, it sets in seemingly irreversile self destruction on account of somebody else. We must remember that we are responsible for our own self and so are others. Breeding any negetaive emotions with in us is like holding coalfire in hand which burns nobody but us. It also rarely results in change in others.

Instead, positive pursuasion makes people accept the limitations and appreciation makes it easier for them to evolve. So please appreciate, encourage and express copius gratitude to all in your life and see your life change...there are many people fulfillng some purpose in your life and all these like people are not bound to have the same nature as yours by the law of the universe..

Forgive if you can, forgive even if you cannot..because nobody likes a complaining person..

It is difficult but CERTAINLY POSSIBLE..

My Expressions - Global Warming and Economic Melt Down

All Scientific, economic and political pursuits of mankind in the last few decades had been devastitingly directed towards consumption of the vast resoureces nature provided us. Consumption became the focal point of the development and the

economic activity centered around the converting natural resources into finished products at profits which surged as the consumption grew. To sustain growths in profits, the best brains of the world devised various instruments to fuel up consumption further. Fundamentals were compromised - Fundamentals of Life, eqaulity and all round growth. People & organisations grew on the artificial purchasing powers with compromised and camouflaged collaterals. Hypes were sustained until the faultlines had tectonic shifts to engulf the whole world into and unprecendented crisis - The crisis of resources...

Each unit of consumption produces 10 times of waste which go unnoticed. ..this waste is remains inefficiently managed or unmanaged..the wastages in the form harmful emissions, Toxic chemicals & Non biodegradable by products derail the ecosystem which jerks and reacts with vanishing greenlands, Icecovers and extreme weather changes.

Todays both Eco system and Economic systems are in turmoil. Both are results of ravaging human tendencies of Greed and selfishness. The modern day euphemism for greed is growth and for selfishness is competetiveness, yet the phraseology cannot hide the casuses being created and consequences being manifested..

What is needed to save the earth, save the mankind and save the humanity before we are on the point of no return..to nourish, preserve and enhance the ecosystem..the natural order ....

Expressions - Leadership

Leadership is perhaps one of the most enigmatic

subject. Many people try to become good leaders
but very few succeed in acquiring a real stature.

In Management terms there are different nuances of

leadership namely Autocratic, Participative ,

Democratic ,Consultative or Situational. Most these
theories barely explain the charisma or pull a leader
create..

Kennedy, Barrack Obama, Martin Luther king,
Mahatma Gandhi, Jack Welch ....the list is endless..
What made them great leaders?

A leader inspire the followers to believe in
their dreams ...A true leader assure the followers of
his unflinching support come what may without
betraying their trust..A leader does what
is right...A leader does not discourage sincere hearts
A leader does not resort to superficial opportunism
or cowardice...A leader pushes his followers to
enable them to realize their potential rather
than making them handicapped and dependent...

Leaders have to be careful who they side with,
befriend or patronise.... Most leaders not vigilant in
this respectvlose their credibility ..Leaders lacking in
compassion are renounced by their followers.

Leadership is position of responsibility

rather than authority... Leaders must be aware
that they would be circled by the cunning people
to curry favor ... Such cunning people collude and
distance the sincere and genuine people from him...
In such situation the subtly influence the ego needs
of the leader to make him arrogant...
This is the start of decline of actual leadership..

On the contrary , a true leader never encourage
wrong practices despite all criticism and never
fail to insist on highest standards...

Compassion, Humility, Responsibility and Capability

makes a Leader ....

A Genuine and conscientious Leader.....
