Editorial Note - Happy New Year 2017 

On the 8th Anniversary of Delta to Sigma , I  express my deep gratitude for the continued patronage of all my dear readers from all parts of the world from US, UK, India, Germany, Poland, Latvia, South Korea, France, Russia and many other countries.

I have received many messages to write more and I know that there is lot more than that we need to do, lot more to write , to connect, to touch lives , to revive hopes,  to help, to encourage , to inspire and in the process evolve ourselves to beome better and better human being. 

Some of the posts I shared last year like Joan Baez - We shall overcome is my all time favorite. Her singing is so full of understanding and empathy that a connect is almost instant. Such is the intensity of emotions felt and expressed- imbued with sincerity. Among others My Real Self received many comments. Sensei's Fan dance is ever youthful expression of dignity and courage.

I Look forward to Year 2017 as the year of  transformation. A transformation deep with in with no cosmetic airbrushing. A disruptive initiative to redefine ourselves...if not now then when!! There is no other moment more real than the present moment. Now is the time to break barriers, push boundaries,  challenge our limitations FEARLESSLY. A new version of self, an avatar that really puts us in new orbit ...a quantum leap.. a turn around and a complete make over.

DETERMINE, REDETERMINE & REDETERMINE.. 

Like all years there are some who are not with us as we usher in the new year. We sincerely pray for them to take rebirth in good circumstances. There were some who gave us shade in tumults..We remember them and cherish their contribution to our lives forever. 

A child is closest  to God in purity of emotions. Adults cannot even fathom the hurt they can cause with their insular thinking to a child's innocent heart. Those who realize this kneel down to hold the hand of the child softly and murmur sincere apology...those who do no not are not benedictory..lets learn from children - innocence and love .

The New Year day is again buzzing with excitement and warm wishes and Bonhomie. Amazing, awesome and captivating. Expression of  benevolence, bliss, mirth and unlimited freedom.

Happy New Year to all of you and waiting to hear the success stories of  Transformation of self, transformation of families and society from all of you. Keep writing and stay blessed . Cheers!!!

My expressions : The Real Self

The Real Self 

We are an entity, identity, being  or we are a process, a phenomenon, a transience, manifesting the illusion of a macro appearance. We could also be an entity experiencing the phenomenon of manifestation of a higher entity which is contained with in all of us. It is intriguing to imagine that we are a part of the whole containing whole. It is surely intriguing to imagine that there could be the world with infinite continuum without beginning or end.

We are so deeply conditioned to perceive in terms of duals for example  good or bad, light or dark, short or tall, calm or angry, good or evil etc.  that to imagine a continuum plane is beyond imagination. In my childhood, I used to wonder if the difference between a line with two distinct ends and a circle with no ends was a simple example of this nonduality. The second example for understanding was Mobius belt which had no beginning or end. Then came the doctrine of Middle way which was suggested to be a third possibility between the two duals. This Middle Path was not an average or man of the two extremes but a third direction which had a logical continuum representing Equilibrium. 

The confluence of two extremes created Life in the form an Entity... Duals finding expression in the equilibrium and sustaining the miracle of manifestation of nondual in macro form. A circle unfolding as a line , a Mobius uncoiling, a spiral collapsing into nothingness. This manifestation , creation, synthesis, on one hand, had the biology of cellular Proteins, DNAs, RNAs, etc. and the other hand had a subtle energy called life state. A life state is neither a feeling nor an emotion. It is a subtle expression ; let's say " Intention" .. having deeper motivations and impressions of  the interplay of destiny and free will. 

A life state thus had an evolution of myriad possibilities into the synthesis of a moment of life intricately connecting space and time. Awareness of this connection empowers us to manifest our real self, a self free of duals, boundaries, and limitations. Real Self is the Universal rhythm pulsing in our eternal existence and nonexistancce.

While we shall understand in forthcoming posts about how the so convoluted subject can be easily understood and imbibed in daily life, suffice to say for the time being that Life is a Miracle and we are the observer of this Miracle learning from every single moment. 

There are some starting points  to observe in the journey to discover Real self. These starting points are  Gratitude, Compassion,  Respect and above all FAITH  . We observe our mind start this journey to manifest gratitude, Compassion, and Respect in our actions and deeds.

Practising Goodness

Believing in goodness &  practising goodness is the key to happiness. What is good and what is bad is not judged by mind cause there will be always be a justifications produced by the mind which are situational and convincing. Practising goodness is the matter of heart. Our heart is the judge which tell our consciousness if something is good or evil;, right or wrong  unerringly.. 

Goodness is rare while evil abounds... Goodness therefore is always subjected to persecution by evil... Evil people will ridicule goodness as naivety, foolishness or will misrepresent it as extremely cunning ploy by the person who practise goodness. They do not want to believe immediately that goodness can sustain or practising it really make any difference. It is also seen that all worldly benefits go to people who employ wicked means and cleverness ( modern prudence) and that the benefits arising out of goodness are subtle, deeper and  far reaching. The struggle is intense but triumph of good over evil is assured. 

Evil people skilfully spread lies about goodhearted ones out of jealousy, envy, competition and hatred. Good people therefore not only have to take the road less travelled but also fight against the malicious perceptions built by evildoers. Evildoers are characterised by eloquence of trivialising good deeds of someone , Evildoers unite easily while good people do not join often. Evildoers will usurp the opportunities where the good people could display their talents or wisdom. Evildoers will try every possible means to discourage gooddoers.  

Practising goodness is an intense battle with ones own self... without giving in to easy temptations or lures.. they sacrifice what is called Opportunities for a larger and loftier cause.. They cheerfully demonstrate  humanism, compassion and kindness at all places and at all times. They are straightforward and hard working ...they are not god fearing but they love god.. Good people are gems on earth... the treasures of the heart , cherished and celebrated ..

Long live Goodness !!!!

On the 7th Anniversary of Delta to Sigma , I once again thank all the readers  from US, UK, India, Germany, Poland, Latvia, South Korea, France, Russia and many other countries for their contributions, comments and suggestions.

I have received many messages to write more.. I am thankful to all the readers who found this small effort to glean inspirations from all over and encourage those who need it..

A word of encouragement, a word of appreciation , a word of praise bring out the true potential of a person. Today we find most people struggling with their lesser self , hurting themselves as they hurt others... The true purpose of life being nowhere in sight..

It is unimportant how long a life one led... how each moment was lived is most important.. 

It is dangerous to rely on our fluctuating mind which has limited wisdom, foresight and sense of right and wrong...

A mentor is needed to shows us the true path...
A philosophy is required to work as anchor of our life.. 
A conscious effort is required to do our human revolution to realise our mission every day.. 

The journey of Human Revolution is long but every step is rewarding..

This year I met some fantastic individuals ..I will remember them forever...

The New Year day is again buzzing with excitement and warm wishes. Why can't every moment of year be charged like this , when we wish each other the best, congratulate them and celebrate the joy and sorrows both with aplomb and equanimity accepting life as it is ...

The Tiny Dots

Arms  outstretched

I saw the distances grow longer,

you, a  blurring outline

in  undulating wind

eluded my narrowing eyes..

A gale of wind blew up

sand and dust

dimming silhouette

setting the sun down...

I rose on my feet

fixing my gaze

on the thin swerving line

popping up and down the horizon

finally reduced were you

to  a tiny dot..

I dropped my gaze

so not losing sight

of my tiny dot

forever ..

a thousand tiny dots

making a horizon

of  longing & promise ..

some  day

the tiny dots grow bigger

curling the horizon inward

a  thousand undulating lines

silhouettes walk  back

a thousand parted ones

meet their loved ones

a hand touches my chin

pulls my face up

is it you my tiny dot...
