Harmony
The ceiling fan
Fills the air,
With a soft
Buzzing hum..,
They eat their breakfast
Silently
The father and the son..
Alone but undefeated
Turn by turn
The hearts are full
But the lips
Remain
Mum…

Irony
The ceiling fan
Buzzes and fills the room
With rustles of air..
Two fathers n two sons
eat their breakfast
Serving their portions to share..
One finds his bowls
filled with memories alone!
And thus silently leave the chair..
Hides in the folds of shadows
Of time
With pursed lips
a dimpled smile, uncherished
to watch ‘em from there…
